This beginner-friendly course is the perfect introduction to working with clay—no experience needed! Over four relaxed and hands-on sessions, you’ll learn the art of pinching—a simple but powerful technique used to make bowls, cups, and sculptural forms with just your hands. You’ll explore shaping, decorating, and glazing, all while creating 2–3 beautiful and functional ceramic pieces that are uniquely yours. We’ll cover the full process from raw clay to finished, fired work. Along the way, you’ll learn how to add texture, attach handles or details, and experiment with surface decoration. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, creative freedom, and lots of encouragement. Come get your hands in the clay and discover how rewarding handbuilding can be!
