This 4-week class is perfect for students who are comfortable throwing basic forms and want to take on a new challenge: making a lidded jar from start to finish. You’ll learn how to throw clean jar shapes, create galleries (lid seats), and make matching lids that fit just right. You’ll also explore trimming techniques, knobs and handles, and how to glaze multi-part pieces so they look polished and professional. By the end of the course, you’ll take home at least one finished lidded jar—plus a ton of new skills and confidence on the wheel. Prior wheel experience required (you should know how to center, pull walls, and trim).
