This 3-month beginner pottery course is the perfect way for kids aged 10 and up to learn how to use the pottery wheel! In this supportive and fun class, students will learn the basics of throwing clay on the wheel— from centering and shaping to trimming and glazing. They’ll start with simple forms like cups and bowls, and work their way up to creating plates or mini vases. Each project is designed to build confidence, coordination, and creativity. Over 12 weeks, they’ll go from curious beginners to proud potters, bringing home 4–6 beautiful, functional pieces they made themselves. No experience needed—just a willingness to get a little messy and try something new!
